Alisa Dillard, LSW
I am a Licensed Social Worker with over 17 years experience in the social work field. I obtained my Masters of Applied Social Sciences (MSW) from Case Western Reserve and a Bachelor’s of Social Work from The Ohio State University.
I have experience working with adults and teens suffering from depression, anxiety, domestic violence, parenting struggles, low self-esteem, familial trauma, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. I have 5 years experience serving primarily men, and believe emotional healing is not based on gender.
I am extremely passionate about helping others heal and develop a sense of self worth, belonging, and self love. I consider myself a light worker, who helps others to discover their light. My gift to help others is a calling that has been developed through education, and personal and professional experience.
It’s my goal to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to address perceived darkness, no matter how taboo. As a counselor, I am skilled in helping adults discover both internal and external barriers to living healed and authentic lives. I utilize a myriad of techniques to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Base techniques, Trauma Informed Care, and Strengths Based Focus.
There is no darkness too deep to heal. It’s time
