Ashley Ohlin, CT

Ashley Ohlin is a counselor trainee working towards a post-masters degree in clinical mental health counseling at John Carroll University. Ashley previously earned a Master of Arts in Educational Studies, Counselor Education at The Ohio State University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and families.

Ashley views therapy as a collaborative process where clients can tell their story, explore feelings, increase insight, and build self-awareness with an approach that is tailored to each client’s individual needs. Together, Ashley and her clients can access their capacity to heal and grow in a nonjudgmental and open-minded atmosphere.

In her free time, Ashley spends time with her husband, Ryan and their two cats, Queso and Strudel. She appreciates nature, art, and music and often takes a creative approach to counseling. 

​

Ashley’s areas of passion are working with people struggling with anxiety and depression, healing trauma, and coping with the transitions of adolescence/young adulthood. She looks forward to helping you learn to cope, find your strengths, and become your best self.
