Halle Steingass, LSW

"Halle Steingass is a Licensed Social Worker. She earned a master’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and Bachelor of Arts degree in social work from Goshen College.

 

Halle has experience working in community mental health, school counseling, and is also a yoga instructor (RYT-200hr). She has enjoyed the opportunity of walking alongside people in their life-journey and finds joy in engaging in meaningful therapeutic relationships. 

Her counseling uses a holistic lens to focus on the mind-body connection. She aims to empower clients through a strengths-based perspective, recognizing the inherent worth of each individual.

 

She utilizes approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and mindfulness practices, Motivational-Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Inner-Family Systems (IFS), and additionally, meditative techniques and breathwork rooted in yoga.

 

Outside of counseling, you can find Halle spending time outside, practicing yoga, walking her dog, and gardening."
