Jasmine Lutz, LPC
Jasmine is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
Jasmine completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She then went on to earn a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Dayton.
Prior to working at Bluestone, Jasmine’s experience included working with children adolescents, and their families, to address behavioral and communication concerns. Her work with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings have focused on assisting those who struggle with adjustment, anxiety, depression, substance use, unresolved trauma and relationship issues.
Jasmine believes everyone has a unique story. Through collaborative therapy, clients can gain insight into past experiences, explore unhelpful patterns of behavior keeping them stuck and create meaning and purpose in order to create beneficial solutions to life’s challenges. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy in order to provide services that best fit the client’s needs. She draws techniques from the following therapies including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. Jasmine uses a direct, and empathic approach to create an environment where clients feel safe to be open, honest, challenged, and heard.
