Katherine Hubschman, LPC
Katherine is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grace College, Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Shawnee State University.
Katherine has experience working in the mental health field for the past several years, with individuals suffering behavioral difficulties, crises, trauma, grief and loss, mood disorders, relationship and identity challenges, anxiety-related issues, and addictions.
As a counselor, Katherine appreciates a person-centered approach where change can prosper through a genuine, supportive and nonjudgmental atmosphere by meeting someone where they are. She believes in one’s potential to live an authentic and meaningful life, with the influence of hope and art of processing.
Katherine is also comfortable implementing techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Choice Theory in session. She enjoys hearing each individual story and helping to discover each person’s unique solution to live life fully.
