Morgan Weininger, LISW-S

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory designation. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2015 and 2017.

I believe you are the expert of your own life and through therapy I can provide support and tools for developing coping skills and communication techniques that make sense for you.

Therapy can be useful for making it through a difficult season in life or for tackling long standing issues. I strive to create an open and accepting environment where you feel comfortable sharing and working through life’s challenges.

My clinical experience is specific to college students, adults, older adults and healthcare professionals. Areas of focus include stress management, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions and relational conflicts.

I use various forms of theories and modalities to shape my practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), Person-in-Environment (PIE) and Strengths-based approaches.
