I have been serving in the field of counseling since 1996. Counseling has been my passion and mission for over 20 years. I served as a Licensed Professional Clinical Supervisor in the State of North Carolina for 7 years.

I have worked in many settings to include: outpatient, inpatient, geriatrics, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, crisis intervention, hospice, geriatrics, substance abuse, intensive in-home and outpatient services.

I have worked with various populations to include: adults, adolescents, older adults, hospice patients, diverse and marginalized populations and clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

A few of my counseling modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy. My unique style and approach also include Spiritual Psychotherapy for clients requesting this service.

Licensed since 2002, I have provided individual, couples, coaching and group counseling services. As an advocate for the LGBTQIA community, I also provide group, individual and couples therapy.

I served as an Adjunct Professor at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA for 5 years and also was a guest Adjunct Professor at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I have also provided training and psycho education throughout my career in both Counseling and Psychology.

It is my desire to empower clients to reach their fullest potential as they move through the healing process.
