Rebecca Bayes LPC
Rebecca Bayes is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the State of Ohio. She graduated with her Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton.
She believes in the power of the person-centered therapeutic relationship that develops between the counselor and the client and the impact it can have on the ability of the client to change and grow into their best self.
The purpose of therapy is to create an environment for the client to feel comfortable and safe enough to feel as though they can open them selves up in a non-judgmental atmosphere that allows them to share and move past what troubles them in their lives, in order to move forward with strength and power.
She feels it is her job as the counselor to help you learn the right ways to communicate what is going wrong in your life so that you can work together to turn that into what is going right in your life. You work together to turn problems and pain into purpose and control. She is excited to begin this journey with you!
She has worked in the mental health field for close to 10 years and has strengths in the areas of Individual Counseling, Mood Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Emotional Disorders, Couples Counseling, Adolescents, Young Adults, Self-Worth/Self-Esteem, Spiritual Issues, Communication issues, Trust issues, and Alcohol and Drug Counseling.
