Rebecca Martin LISW
Rebecca Martin is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and from the University of South Carolina with a Master’s Degree in Social Work.
"Rebecca has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in community mental health and private practice settings. In these settings, Rebecca has guided clients in managing and alleviating symptoms of behavioral and mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-injurious behaviors, and interpersonal conflict.
Rebecca has experience implementing a wide variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma and Loss in Children. Rebecca is in training to become an EMDR therapist and is able to implement these processes when appropriate.
Rebecca believes in assisting clients in reaching their goals and utilizes a strengths-based approach in treatment.
