Farrah Chrstos, LSW

Farrah is a licensed clinical social worker with the State of Ohio Counseling, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. She received her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University.

Farrah practices from a client centered approach that incorporates positive psychology and skill building through intervention modalities such as CBT, ACT, SFT, MI and crisis intervention.

Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that people operate in the context of interconnected systems, and understanding the dynamics and influences within these systems is crucial to fostering healthy relationships and individual well-being.

Farrah believes that counseling is a collaborative process where the expertise of both the client and therapist combine for the best results. She meets clients where they are, provides a brave space, empowers them to explore their identity, why they do what they do, and what to do next.

Farrah works from a place of cultural humility and believes in the values of respect, service, and the dignity and worth of all people. Farrah enjoys working with all ages but has extensive experience working in higher education and with student populations ages 16-25.

Professional Interests:
Neurodiversity, ADHD, anxiety, grief and loss, suicidal ideation and community prevention, trauma, issues of race, gender, and class, and exploring cultural identities.
