Madison Wilmoth, CT
I am a Counselor Trainee (CT) while obtaining my master's from Capital University. I previously graduated from The Ohio State University where I obtained my bachelor's in psychology.
Always had a continued interest in mental health and supporting others in any way I can, which drew me to become a counselor.
I have spent the last three years working with neurodiverse children in treatment centers, homes, and school settings. This time has given me the experience of building my foundational counseling skills leading up to my time as a CT. I am interested in working with all ages and backgrounds as I begin my journey.
My approach in counseling is with a person-centered perspective, with interests in a range of cognitive behavioral therapies while looking through a multicultural lens.
I believe that therapy should be tailored to each individual, empowering them to be seen, heard, and supported on their unique journeys.
