Hi, my name is Patricia and I am licensed as an Independent Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Master of Counseling Psychology degree from National University in California and my Bachelor of Arts Psychology degree for California State University.
I strive to help you gain insight, resolve conflicts, and handle stressors in your life that are impeding your day to day functioning and quality of life. My goal is help you get to a place where you feel satisfied with your life and no longer need therapy.
Therapeutic services provided include:
adolescents beginning at age 15,individuals, couples, families.
Areas of focus include:
Anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, emotional disturbance, family conflict, couples, marriage and premarital, infidelity, divorce, grief and loss, self-esteem, parenting, stress, trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, step parenting, Dual diagnosis from addiction both alcohol and drug, co-dependency, Faith based struggles.
I work from several base of therapeutic techniques and call myself eclectic as I will utilize any strategies, tools or techniques from all therapies to help a client achieve their goals. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and other therapeutic techniques as needed. Faith based is offered to those clients that chose to have this incorporated.
