Sarah Morris, CT

Sarah Morris is a Counselor Trainee working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at The Ohio State University.

 

She is passionate about working with and learning from clients of all ages, stages, and backgrounds.

Sarah views her clients as the experts of their life experience, while she provides a supportive, reflective, and non-judgmental role to foster self-exploration and positive change. She believes in creating a welcoming space where clients feel that they can share their stories and work at their own pace to gain deeper self-awareness and long-lasting growth.

Sarah’s client-centered approach applies theory and creative interventions to help her clients rediscover their inner strengths and resources. Theories such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Multicultural Theory, and Mindfulness techniques inform her approach.

When Sarah has some free time, she usually spends it with her husband and three kids. She also enjoys alone time when she can listen to music, read, tend to her houseplants, write in her journal, or go for long w
alks.
